What sights to see in Puerto Vallarta?

    1. Playa Los Muertos Pier

At the end of the picturesque Malecon Promenade you will find the modern pier Playa Los Muertos. During the day you can enjoy the view of the sea and the old town of Puerto Vallarta. A particularly amusing spectacle is offered to you when the fishing boats return to the harbour in the late afternoon with their day's catch, followed by many pelicans hoping for a bite or two. In the evening the pier is illuminated with changing colours and offers a romantic background for a night walk.

    2. Malécon Puerto Vallarta

In the heart of Puerto Vallarta is the 'Boardwalk Malécon'. On the half mile strip of the promenade, Mexico's tradition and modernity merge. Here art, entertainment and history meet. The many different forms of artistic expression - sand sculptures, paintings and flyer shows - in the shade of the palm trees make the Boardwalk simply unique. If you want to party and dance, just go to the promenade in the evening when the nightlife is pulsating here.

    3. Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe

The parish of Guadalupe, built in 1930, is the most popular landmark of Puerto Vallarta. Its architecture combines many different styles, such as Baroque, Renaissance and Neo-Classicism. The emblematic dome of the building was created by the artist Carlos Terres in 1965. The locals are very proud of the fact that they financed the restoration of the church themselves after the roof was destroyed by an earthquake in 1995.

    4. Mismaloya Beach

White sand, lush vegetation, turquoise water and beautiful rock formations at Mismaloya Beach will help you to relax. The beach is a tropical dream and is located a little bit away from Puerto Vallarta. It is very beautiful because of its location, the white and blue fisherman's boats that are anchored there and the many Mexican sweets that are offered around the beach. The right place to relax, splash around and soak up the sun.

    5. Centro Cultural Cuale

The cultural centre of Puerto Vallartas has so many facets that you can probably spend several days there. Sometimes the beautifully located spot is the venue for a wide variety of artistic performances, but it is also a real cultural centre where you can try your hand at different forms of art: Music, painting, acting - get creative! If you don't want to be so active, you can also simply stroll through the beautiful park and get to know the flora and fauna of the area. Less
